About Us

Spectropharma is a Saudi company that was established in 2019. It is core business is development, manufacturing, and sales of pharmaceutical products in Saudi Arabia and abroad. Spectropharma manufacturing facility is in Sudair industrial city, 120KM north east of Riyadh, with a plant site that covers 54,000 sq. m. The plant was constructed and equipped up to the highest quality levels. Spectropharma believes that quality is the most vital determinant of a company's reputation among commercial and institutional customers in the pharmaceutical industry. Therefore, emphasis on high quality is the essence of its brands and will help company to differentiate from the market along with affordable medicine prices to its patients.

Through a robust quality standard, state of the art technologies, and high talent pharmacist, engineers and marketers, Spectropharma would leverage its strengths to establish itself as a major player in the pharmaceutical market in KSA and across the globe. Spectropharma specializes in producing Biosimilars, generic pharmaceuticals, CSSD, and infection protection products through partnership with multinational companies as well as in-house development. Spectropharma will forge strategic relationships, alliances, and partnerships with channel partners to maximize its reach and prevention.

AbdulAziz A. Alsheikh

MD & Co-Founder Spectropharma

AbdulAziz A. Alsheikh currently holds the MD position at Spectropharma. AbdulAziz is a member of the company’s Board. A global and regional business leader, Abdulaziz brings an outstanding record of driving business, and building high-performance teams.

Prior to assuming his current position in April 2021, AbdulAziz was the General Manager at Johnson & Johnson Medical Device and Janssen Pharmaceutical , leading Saudi operation for seven years. He also was a member of the company’s Middle East Management Board.

Prior to that he held multiple positions with increasing responsibilities including Country Manager for LifeScan Johnson and Johnson, Business Manager for HIV, Business Manager and Sales Manager for Osteoporosis at Merck Sharp and Dohme, Saudi Arabia.

Abdulaziz was attracted following his post graduate education to join Merck & Co.’s Headquarters as part of their International Talent Program and worked in key sales and marketing roles in Whitehouse Station New Jersey, USA for two years prior to returning to Saudi Arabia in 2002.

AbdulAziz served as a Member of business Council for Small and Medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Saudi Arabia. He has lead work for various initiatives for the betterment of healthcare and social standards in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia including improving diabetic patients care via various awarded projects and writing numerous articles, highlighting the importance of reversing the rising incidence of diabetes in the Kingdom.

Abdulaziz holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from King Saud University, Riyadh and a double Masters in Business Administration and Master of International Finance from the American University, Washington DC, USA.
